Hi, I'm Xuedi.
Bang Dream, you might not have heard of, but surely you've come across Mygo?
A girl band animation that has gone viral with its character conflicts, gravity-defying girl clashes, and meme-worthy scenes.
The new band that emerged from it, Ave Mujica (pronunciation: Ah-beh Moo-jee-kah), premiered this January. Its storyline is even more gripping and intense than Mygo's, leaving me unable to stop watching, agonizing if I miss a day, or feeling tormented for an entire week after watching.

So today, Xuedi is here to sort out the clues given by the first few episodes and detail the issues displayed by the five members of Ave Mujica in the first three episodes.
Hachiman Kaere

Currently the only normal person, responsible for the band's scheduling and operations.
She supports 30 bands as a backup bass player, but claims she actively plays in 10. During the Mygo training period, she swiftly recognized Disconnection's issues, and in Ave Mujica's third episode, she counters Shoko's statement that Nyamun needs more practice, demonstrating her sharp observational skills.
Kaere's biggest problem is that, it's hard to see how she'll explode into the crazed expression shown in the preview and OP. I personally think it might relate to Mutsuki's performance after episode three.
Mutsuki's new personality, Mortis, emerged in episode three and captivated everyone's attention, shifting the interest from Ave Mujica's music to drama. However, Kaere is a clear music enthusiast. The clash between focusing on performance or music, along with a bit of Taichi's sharp tongue (which makes it hardly a band), might be Kaere's breaking point?

Moreover, Kaere's assigned name, Timoris (Fear), indicates her possible challenges. But what exactly will she fear?
If we look at the current storyline, I'd say Kaere fears being denied her identity as a musician by Taichi. Their interactions are significantly linked, and the potential dissolution of Ave Mujica might not scare Kaere, who supports 30 bands, but Taichi might.

Yutenji Wakamai

Nyamun, also known as Dr. Nyan, the drummer.
Currently the driving force of the plot, her conflict with Shoko is the main struggle but she's also the clearest in her objectives.
Nyamun simply wants fame, short-sightedly (unveiling the mask), and unscrupulously (seeking resources from Mutsuki's mom) for it.
But she's also a hard worker, practicing until drumsticks break, obsessively drumming at home, even being praised by RAS's drummer (which is like a baseball pitcher being praised by Chien-Ming Wang).

So Nyamun is currently Ave Mujica's most straightforward character, purely advancing towards her goal of becoming an all-around artist.

Unfortunately, everyone speculates if she's a good or bad cat, but she seems to be a dumb cat for now.
Unveiling her mask equates to exposing her weaknesses, as the others, except maybe Shoko, are more famous than Nyamun (and once Shoko's lady status gets gossiped, she gets more attention than Nyamun). So when the mask comes off, Nyamun gets the least attention in terms of fame and discussion.

Furthermore, when Mutsuki collapsed in episode two, Nyamun thought it was acting. Even though everyone was mentally dead, she still thought it was just an act.

Nyamun's future is quite predictable. Her given name is Amoris (Love), so I believe she will transform from viewing the band and colleagues as tools to genuinely loving them.
As a side note, many think Nyamun is a university student or working adult. Nyamun channel recently revealed she is in her first year of high school.
I just want to say, what the hell, she's a freshman?
But this does explain Nyamun's impulsive behavior; it's adolescence, after all, no surprise.

Mikado Hatsuka

The band's lead singer, Shoko's lifelong admiration, though currently has little screen presence, making her the character most speculated about with fake medicine (irresponsible plot guessing).
Since Mygo, she has shown considerable concern and preference for Shoko, taking care to move her hair away when answering Shoko's call but taking Kaere's calls through her hair.
Juggling her two-person Sumimi band and Ave Mujica, but in episode two, we learn her Sumimi colleague, Mana, started solo activities, relieving some of Hatsuka's dual roles stress.

But in episode three, Nyamun accuses Hatsuka of being too busy with Sumimi to join Ave Mujica's rehearsals. So what exactly is Hatsuka busy with? Could she be crazily building an underground basement for Shoko at home? (X)

The most shocking part about Hatsuka in episode three for me was when she tried to relieve Shoko's stress by offering her a donut, pointing out she had many flavors.

However, the donuts were presented in halves, almost implying that under the pretext of Mana giving Hatsuka half a donut in episode two, Hatsuka didn't eat them but offered them to Shoko instead?

Hatsuka seems like a calm sea with hidden depths beneath. Analyzing from Doloris (Sorrow), it could indicate that Ave Mujica, after Mutsuki's personality change, gradually distances themselves from the band and Shoko becomes isolated and more extreme. Perhaps Shoko's outburst towards Mutsuki in episode three will also be directed at Hatsuka?

Toyokawa Shoko

My weak self has died, now I am soft and sticky Xiaoxiang.
Born with a boomerang holy body, most arguments she starts boomerang right back to her.
After a station quarrel, she followed Mutsuki expecting a heartfelt talk only to explode again, saying "stop acting spoiled" to Mutsuki, then immediately whining "why aren't you on my side" at her (let's whip this scene again).

During her argument with Nyamun, the first line criticized Dr. Nyan for insufficient practice, but earlier scenes clearly showed Nyamun's intense practice, and even Kaere noticed and countered for Nyamun. Yet, Shoko, as the leader, completely missed it.

This proves that when Shoko initially told Taro the lamp needed practice, she didn't care if Taro had practiced but was just using it as a starting move for a fight, resulting in Taro's depression and C-team's quarrel turning into Mutsuki's PTSD, truly a vile woman.
The next episode's preview shows Ave Mujica members sitting beside Mortis, leaving Shoko alone on the other side of the table.

Shoko only has Ave Mujica left, but what if Ave Mujica no longer needs Shoko? Does it align with the name Shoko gave herself, Oblivionis (Oblivion)?
A brief comment on Ms. Ob and her string of letters: you and your dad are identical.
Wakaba Mutsuki

Ave Mujica's first explosive person. If she speaks, it's a bomb, and she ends up bombing herself too.
Enduring parental pressure, C-band dissolution pressure, Cracked World pressure, Ave Mujica dissolution pressure, and ultimately gave birth to Mortis to face everything.
Viewers who watched since Mygo note that Mutsuki's lines and scenes may be scarce, yet we saw her complete breakdown journey.
Initially in C-band, Shoko suggested quitting, and when Cracked World appealed to Mutsuki for rescue, she said, "I've never enjoyed band playing."
But Ave Mujica clarifies, Mutsuki felt everyone expressed their inner thoughts through music excellently, but she completely couldn't, only playing an empty guitar. Hence, self-doubt emerged, making band playing unenjoyable.

However, this statement appeared in an inappropriate context, making Mutsuki believe C-band's dissolution was her main fault.
Then, the station argument triggered Mutsuki's PTSD from witnessing C-band's quarrel-induced dissolution, and likewise, her belief that it may dissolve Ave Mujica, mainly because of herself again.

Ultimately, to avoid being the trigger for dissolution, Mortis consumed herself, marking the death of her original self, inaugurating the person granting puppet names meaning.

Mutsuki's display also hints at every member facing the meaning of their given name, and I started analyzing subsequent members' issues from this revelation.
But how will these seemingly sick individuals solve their issues? I don't know either. Before Mygo's episode 10, I didn't expect Taro's emotional outburst, pulling the entire team back with a poem, directly touching the hearts of band members.
All I can say is, I'm eagerly anticipating, and I just want to see Ave Mujica's episode 4 QQ
