Hi everyone, I'm Xuedi.
I never expected that right after the limited rerun of Najo and Ji, they'd quickly roll out the Dessert Club's band.
Though the previous PV kind of teased at it, I didn't expect it to come so fast, and another limited release too. Having just completed Najo, I'm barely holding on QQ

Re-watching the PV, I realized that Xia's face was obscured, and this time everyone but Xia has been introduced. Is this some new-age exclusion XD?
But in the newest event PV, you do see their face~ The Dessert Club members definitely leave a strong impression on the teachers ᕕ(◠‿◠)ᕗ

Let's first analyze whether you should go for Band Chisa and Band Yoshimi in this latest drop~
==========================================================
Kazusa (Band) / Chisa (Band)

First, let me help translate the skills for everyone.
EX: Within a circular area centered on oneself, allies' attack speed increases, and adds a "Sugar rush" status effect to oneself for a period of time (up to 2 stacks).
NS: Every so often, increase one's own attack power temporarily.
PS: Increases attack speed.
SS: Every time a "Sugar rush" is held by oneself, an additional attack is triggered during normal attacks (up to 2).
This skill set clearly is designed for an enraged Set, because during the fight with Set, there is reduced EX damage, so it's preferable to choose characters with high attack speed and normal attack damage. Band Chisa fits this condition well and also boosts the speed of teammates, making it a must-bring for tower climbing players next month.
Important to note: since Chisa stands in the BACK, characters standing in FRONT may not receive the speed buff, as seen in the official trial video. It's necessary to use EX to pull front-line characters closer.

Aside from tower climbing, can Band Chisa be used elsewhere? The answer, for now, is no. The full-power burst already has Outfit Hina, so players uninterested in climbing the Set tower don't really need to pull for Band Chisa at the current stage.
Of course, there's no guarantee a stage or challenge would suddenly require use, bringing an element of gambling here.
Feature: Burst speed increase support, normal attack output.
Pulling Suggestion : Pull if climbing Set tower, otherwise, feel free to PASS.
Usability: Enraged Set
==========================================================
Yoshimi (Band) / Yoshimi (Band)

EX: Increases attack power and speed for a period of time, and applies a "Sugar rush" status effect to oneself (up to 5 stacks).
NS: Upon a certain number of normal attacks, deals one-time damage to an enemy. With more "Sugar rush" statuses held by allies, the damage increases (up to 8).
PS: Increases attack power.
SS: Each time NS is triggered a certain number of times, additional damage is dealt on the next NS activation.
Similar to Chisa, but closer in position to a pure attacker, and because the NS requires a maximum of 8 stacks, Band Yoshimi herself can only bring 5 stacks natively, meaning if bringing Yoshimi, you must take Band Chisa (2) and Band Airi (1) as well.
Among the three lately introduced characters, she's the strongest in attacking ability, yet also has the most rigid team setup requirements.
Feature: Burst speed increase support, massive normal attack output.
Pulling Suggestion : Pull Yoshimi after getting Band Chisa, pull if climbing Set tower, otherwise feel free to PASS.
Usability: Enraged Set
==========================================================
Airi (Band) / Airi (Band)

After analyzing the two limited pull characters, let's look at the free event Airi!
EX: Grants oneself a burst buff for a while, while also adding a "Sugar rush" status effect.
NS: After a certain number of normal attacks, deals one-time damage to an enemy.
PS: Increases range and speed of normal attacks.
SS: When attacking while having a "Sugar rush" status, may inflict critical rate resistance decrease on the enemy.
Another piece of the puzzle for Band Yoshimi, also normal attack-specialized, with SS having a chance to inflict Debuff.
Although positioned FRONT, since PS increases range, they position further back, in order to receive Band Chisa's speed buff.
Feature: Burst sub-attacker, completes Band Yoshimi's 8th "Sugar Rush"
Development Suggestion : Train if planning to use Dessert Club Band to fight Set
Usability: Enraged Set
==========================================================
This time it's clear the abilities of both limited pulls and the free one are implemented to fight Set. But how cost-effective is this "Set-fighting"?
From the first experience with Set tower, the first 24 floors can be passed easily without a specialized team, but the items required to break the character limit are placed at the back end. So, getting those items inevitably necessitates creating a team specializing in fighting Set.
But is breaking the white value limit really that important? I think it only matters for players competing on TM difficulty aiming for top ranks and players just shy of TM who rotate in front-line INS, these are the only two types of players who would benefit.
Casual players can completely PASS on Set tower, meaning that this pool is fully optional.
But, as always, one must wait for outfits, and the official might provide reasons, so it's hard to make a wrong choice pulling limiteds.
Xuedi can only say, so irresistible, I will pull.
